Challenge of the Week. I got to be a guest puzzler on one of my favorite podcasts, Hey Riddle Riddle. On it, I asked the hosts to complete a bunch of terrible puns, each with the name of an actress. For instance:
The head chef told the line cook to dice less and ___ ___.
(See title for answer.)
Download the episode to hear the full segment, which starts at about 45:00. For today’s challenge, I’d like you to make up your own pun, but instead of an actress, use the name of a well-known actor. I’ll include my favorites in the next issue.

The Atlantic Crossword: A New Daily Puzzle
The Lockdown
The Woman Who Smashed Codes: The Untold Story of Cryptography Pioneer Elizebeth Friedman
Best duo covers
In Issue #42, I asked folks to pick a song and two artists who’d make an appropriate duo for a cover of that song. I got lots of great entries; here are three favorites.
Sugar Ray and the Spice Girls, “Wouldn’t It Be Nice?”
— submitted by Rich
Funkadelic & Wagner, “It Don’t Mean a Thing”
— submitted by Bob
Andrew Bird and the Bee Gees, “What Is Love”
— submitted by Vermo
